Improved Presentation and Image handling with the latest version of Keyfax
We are excited to announce the launch of our image editor embedded within the release of Keyfax 4.4.7. This gives users a greatly improved presentation to Keyfax with a brand-new, tiled presentation of Diagnostics, straight out of the box!
Primarily designed to enhance the capabilities of our core products, Keyfax Repairs Diagnostics and Enquiries. This innovative tool will improve the way contact centre staff, maintenance personnel, and tenants approach repair work and general enquiries.
Best of all, with the latest release of Keyfax (4.4.7), you will benefit from an extensive library of photographic images, which should cover most of our customers’ needs. There is also provision of a default set of icons, so that the landing page for Keyfax Repairs Diagnostics, when launched, can now look like this:
Users of Keyfax Self-Service will still benefit from the diagnostic or enquiries scripting on any internet enabled device to support field engineers, surveyors or tenants with a white labelled lightweight or mobile version.
Even more configurable
This powerful improvement to Keyfax not only offers a comprehensive image library, it also empowers administrators to create their own visuals, to even further enhance the aiding of effective repair diagnosis. This functionality provides a huge step forward for improving the accuracy of diagnosing and resolving problems at the first attempt, especially when dealing with objects or issues that may be difficult to describe, translate or identify.
This visual support is invaluable for creating diagnosed outcomes quickly. Whether it be a broken appliance, a structural problem, or any other maintenance concern, the feature ensures that everyone involved has a clear understanding of the problem.
Hotspot Images are still available
Be reassured that hotspot images are still available within the Keyfax image library and have been enhanced for a more visual and clearer impact.
Updated Hotspot Image Editor
The hotspot image editor available within Keyfax Administrator Tools has been significantly improved. It enables script authors to quickly & easily upload hotspot images into the Keyfax database and add clickable regions with custom text labels. And the text labels no longer need to be embedded within the image, which offer a much improved presentation.
Here’s an example of a custom hotspot image with labels defined and added via Admin Tools.
The displayed labels can now be added automatically and positioned via Keyfax Administrator Tools.
Keyfax Topic Icons
With the latest version of Keyfax it’s now possible to visually represent topics displayed within a category for both self service and staff scripts using a custom image or icon. This makes it even easier for both tenants and advisors to quickly navigate to the topic of interest and another option for an improved presentation to your tenants and staff. Here is staff script

And we’ve done the same for questions. So Keyfax admins can now use custom images or icons at the question level within both staff and online scripts to visually represent the available choices or responses for a particular question.

The Keyfax 4.4.7 image library is easy to use and offers a user-friendly interface where users can browse the library of images to assign these to their categories and topics within the Keyfax product suite. The feature follows in the footsteps of previous Keyfax releases and therefore offers our customers flexibility with options to create, upload and assign their own images, improving the presentation of Keyfax to their staff and tenants.
